NIGHTRAGE, DREAMLAND Members Join Forces In MY DARLING DISMAY

MY DARLING DISMAY, the new Swedish project featuring Olof Mörck (NIGHTRAGE, AVALANCHE, DRAGONLAND) and Johan Ericsson (DREAMLAND) has posted its first song on the band's MySpace page.

Commented songwriter and guitarist Olof Mörck: "MY DARLING DISMAY was born through the collaboration between myself and singer Anna Mariann, a fine singer that impressed me greatly when I first saw her sing at the Boulevard Theatre in Stockholm. We were both striving to recreate the glam/sleaze/hard rock that we grew up with during the '80s fused with a genuine metal sound, as we felt that there is both a passion and need for this music, as well as there is a strange lack of it. Eminent guitarist Johan Ericsson was soon added to this small, yet fast growing constellation, and just as this new born is starting to take off, we'd like to share the first results of our efforts; the song 'My Darling Dismay' is a cohesive characterization of our ambition, and you can expect quite a bit more in this direction in the near future! MY DARLING DISMAY have already started to generate a lot of buzz in the Gothenburg hard rock/metal scene, and we're now bringing our focus elsewhere as well, and will start to look for a label soon. Stay tuned for much more!"
