NIGHTWISH Get Involved In Side Projects

NIGHTWISH drummer Jukka Nevalainen and keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen will make guest appearances on the debut album from SETHIAN, a new Helsinki, Finland-based act that also features in its ranks former WIZZARD frontman Tapio Wilska (who had previously done session studio work with NIGHTWISH). The album will be recorded at Walltone studios and will be mixed by Mikko Karmila (STRATOVARIUS, NIGHTWISH, CHILDREN OF BODOM). An early 2003 release through Spinefarm Records is expected.

In related news, NIGHTWISH guitarist Emppu Vuorinen has composed and recorded the theme for MTV3's Hockey Night, which is currently airing in Finland. Emppu plays guitars and bass on the recording and has also programmed part of the drums.

Also on the NIGHTWISH front, Holopainen will play keyboards on the forthcoming Finnish tour by TIMO RAUTIAINEN JA TRIO NISKALAUKAUS, scheduled to take place during November/December.
