NIGHTWISH: Photo Of Drummer JUKKA's Newborn Posted Online

Dutch webzine Reflections of Darkness has published a photo of NIGHTWISH drummer Jukka Nevalainen's son Niki at this location.

Commented Jukka: "His name might lead us to think that he is a potential bassist but I'd prefer him to be a drummer. After all 'Drums are the instruments of Gods'.=)"

Niki is Jukka Nevalainen and wife Satu's second child. He was born on December 19.

As previously reported, Spinefarm Records has set a June 7, 2006 release date for the upcoming "End of an Era" CD/DVD release from NIGHTWISH.

"End of an Era" will contain footage of NIGHTWISH's final concert with singer Tarja Turunen, which took place on October 21 at the Hartwall arena in Helsinki, Finland.

NIGHTWISH fired Turunen via an "open letter," which was given to the singer immediately following the Helsinki show. The group are currently seeking a replacement vocalist before entering the studio in September 2006 to begin recording the follow-up to 2004's "Once", tentatively due in mid-2007.
