NIGHTWISH To Issue Special Copy-Protected Version Of "Century Child" CD

May 4, 2002

Finland's NIGHTWISH will issue a special copy-protected version of their new CD, entitled Century Child, on May 27th featuring a unique code, which can be used to download the album and the group's first three-track demo via the group's official web site. Recorded prior to the band's first album and used to procure a deal with Spinefarm Records, the demo was recently remastered at Helsinki's Finnvox studios and can be downloaded, along with the Century Child CD, three times via the group's web site until December 31st, 2002 by using the above-mentioned code. In addition, the special version of the album is going to include a video CD, featuring the promo clip for "Over the Hills and Far Away", playable on a computer or a DVD player. A normal, non-copy-protected version of the album without the video CD will also be made available at the same time.
