OATH TO VANQUISH Interviews Airing On VBS.tv

VBS.tv has posted several video interviews featuring Lebanese death metal trio OATH TO VANQUISH.

VBS producer Eddy Moretti visited the band in Beirut, Lebanon, with a camera crew in tow to explore the band's struggle towards artistic freedom within the turbulent environment of Lebanon and the Middle East.

During discussions with Moretti, guitarist/vocalist Elias van Quish describes without mincing his words the evils of self-serving political factions in his country, the inspiration for his band's lyrics as well as the impetus behind the making of notorious music video for their track "Executive Onslaught", directed by U.S. filmmaker Vince Brusio.

OATH TO VANQUISH released its debut album, "Applied Schizophrenic Science", in 2006 via UK-based label Grindethic Records.

VBS.tv previously delved into the animated world of extreme metal with acclaimed documentaries recounting the trials and tribulations of rising Iraqi metal outfit ACRASSICAUDA living in a bombed out and broken Iraq, as well as in-depth interviews with controversial figure Gaahl from Norwegian black metal band GORGOROTH. Formed under the motto of "rescuing you from television's deathlike grip," the online broadcast network streams original content, free of charge and 24 hours a day, aiming to give a voice to issues in tune with modern day living, daring to dig into subjects often too visceral, honest and thought-provoking for the mainstream media.
