OPETH Commence Mixing Process For 'Deliverance'
September 8, 2002OPETH are due to commence the mixing process for their new album, Deliverance, today (Sunday, September 8th) at producer Andy Sneap's Backstage studio in the UK for an October 28th release.
As previously reported, Deliverance will contain the "heavier" material recently laid down as part of a two-album project in Gothenburg, Sweden with producer Steven Wilson (PORCUPINE TREE),while its follow-up, Damnation, will feature the more "mellow" songs recorded during the same sessions.
In other news, OPETH will be performing at The Shrine in Stockholm, Sweden on September 27th. The gig will be recorded and eventually broadcast by Swedish P3 radio.
