Original AC/DC Singer DAVE EVANS' New Album To Receive UK Release
September 8, 2008According to Undercover News original AC/DC singer Dave Evans will release his new album, "Judgement Day", in the UK in October — one week before AC/DC's new CD, "Black Ice", is scheduled to arrive.
The follow-up to 2003's "Sinner", which came out in Australia on July 14 through MGM, was recorded in Brisbane, Australia with producer Mark Tinson and features 10 tracks, including a cover of "House of the Rising Sun" (listen to the audio below). The first single is "We Don't Dance to Your Song".
Evans was a member of AC/DC from the band's inception in 1973 until 1974. Following his departure from AC/DC, Dave Evans formed the wild hedonistic rock band RABBIT, Melbourne '80s rock outfit DAVE EVANS AND THUNDER DOWN UNDER, and lastly DAVE EVANS AND HOT COCKEREL. Dave Evans has also toured as a solo act, and in 2004 released his current album, "Sinner", on Germany's Cultural Minority record label. In 2005, Dave Evans toured across Holland, Germany and Switzerland with the renowned southern rock band MOLLY HATCHET.
