OTEP Set Release Date For Sophomore Album
April 15, 2004OTEP have set a July 27 release date through Capitol Records for their sophomore album, "House of Secrets".
The follow-up to 2002's "Sevas Tra" was produced by Greg Wells, known for his work with a diverse range of artists, including the DEFTONES, MICHELLE BRANCH, and ELTON JOHN. The album — recorded late last year at Los Angeles' Rocket Carousel Studios — features guest drumming on six tracks by SLIPKNOT basher Joey Jordison.
OTEP will presage the album's release by returning to the annual Ozzfest tour. The Los Angeles-based band — whose intense performances were considered highlights of the 2001 and 2002 treks — will be featured on the second stage roster, with dates kicking off July 10 at ctnow.com Meadows Music Theatre in Hartford, Connecticut.
