OZZY OSBOURNE, AUDIOSLAVE, WHITE ZOMBIE Music Featured In GUITAR HERO Video Game
November 23, 200530 licensed rock songs, including tracks made famous by OZZY OSBOURNE, WHITE ZOMBIE, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, AUDIOSLAVE, FRANZ FERDINAND, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, THE DONNAS, SUM 41 as well as such legendary artists JIMI HENDRIX, DAVID BOWIE and THE RAMONES are included in the set list for the innovative, upcoming rock 'n roll video game Guitar Hero.
Released under a newly formed partnership between video game publisher RedOctane and MTV Games, "Guitar Hero is the next best thing to actually being a rock star," said Joseph Varet, Senior Director of MTV Games. "It's a unique game that truly delivers on our audiences' passion for music, perfectly representing the kind of experience that MTV Games was established to create."
In Guitar Hero, choose to be one of six rock characters and perform at concert venues that grow in size as your music career progresses. RedOctane also has an exclusive deal with musical giant Gibson Guitar where a selection of famous Gibson electric guitars is available for characters to play.
