August 7, 2002OZZY OSBOURNE and wife/manager Sharon Osbourne were slapped with another lawsuit over the TV show The Osbournes, filed by a television production company on Tuesday, August 6th in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Threshold TV, Inc. are suing the family, MTV, Viacom, Sony Pictures, Sony Music, Sony Signatures Network, and Monowise for "wrongful rip-off" of a producer's alleged idea and violation of a pre-existing intellectual property rights agreement.

Threshold also cites meetings with Sharon Osbourne beginning in January 2000 and filed a copy of a 10-page agreement signed by her, representing the rock couple's company, Monowise LTD, on December 13th, 2000, for intellectual property rights in relation to Ozzy Osbourne interests and the Ozzfest tour, with approval over further agreements with third or additional parties.
Threshold is seeking declaration that they own the series, and have the rights to all properties related to it (books, merchandise, etc.). It is seeking unspecified damages to be determined at a jury trial.
