PARADISE LOST Guitarist To Miss Final Dates Of Tour
September 30, 2005According to a posting on PARADISE LOST's official web site, the group's guitarist, Gregory Mackintosh, "will not be present for the final few gigs of this tour, taking place in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Bucharest and Sofia. The reason for this is that Greg is due to go into hospital soon for his second operation, and his doctor has warned him that it would be unsafe for him to fly while he is still recovering. We hope you all understand, and we wish Greg a speedy recovery!"
As previously reported, Dark Element has pushed back the U.S. release date of the new PARADISE LOST album, entitled "Paradise Lost", to November 1 from the previously announced October 18. The CD will feature the regular 12 tracks and two bonus tracks taken from the limited-edition "Forever After" EP.
"Paradise Lost" was recorded primarily at Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire, England under the guidance of producer Rhys Fulber (FEAR FACTORY, FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY). The follow-up to 2002's "Symbol of Life" is the group's first CD to feature drummer Jeff Singer (ex-BLAZE).
