In related news, PITCHSHIFTER guitarist Dan Rayner spent this past summer recording an album's worth of material for the production company Extreme Music with his other band DRAWBACKS.
"We've done quite a lot of stuff with Extreme in the past including stuff for BMW and WWF Smackdown, so when they approached us to do nine tracks for their 'Chemical Beats' album series, we were stoked," said Dan.
The album is distributed to ad companies and music researchers around the globe for use in TV and Film.
"The versions of all the songs on this album are totally different to the version that you would listen to for pleasure," stated Rayner. "The songs are all straight-to-the-point arrangement-wise so that they hit the right people right between the eyes with in 15 seconds of pressing play — no indulgent intros and obviously no vocals."
