PLANET STORM: 'Alone' EP Preview Available

PLANET STORM, the new project formed by the guitar duo of Ronny Blylod (DESTYNATION) and Johannes Forsberg (AMETHYST),has posted audio clips from its upcoming EP, "Alone", on the group's MySpace page.

Commented the band: "It's not the final product, it's just a preview of what is coming. There's still a lot of work, though most of it is already done.

"We really wanted people to get a taste of it, since there's been a lot of rumors regarding PLANET STORM and what we sound like, so we made a kind of a short presentation of all the songs to be included on the EP (except for the bonus track)."

Launched in June 2006, PLANET STORM is said to be "a progressive and neo-classical band which will be fronted by two vocalists." Forsberg and Blylod co-write the music on the CD, while the vocals on this album are being handled by two of the best voices in the metal world, Anders Zackrisson (ex-NOCTURNAL RITES, GOTHAM CITY) and Ronny Hemlin (STEEL ATTACK).

PLANET STORM is currently in the studio recording its debut EP and full-length CD, with plans to release the EP by the beginning of summer, and the album to follow before the fall. The EP will contain four songs with one bonus track appearing for free on their MySpace page very soon. At the moment they are putting the last touches on the EP, including the killer guitar solos and vocals.
