POWERTRIP: Debut Album Out Now

Swedish female-fronted alternative rock/metal band POWERTRIP (photo) has just released its debut album, "Cold Black Lie", via Greece's Sleaszy Rider Records. The CD was recorded, mixed and mastered in 2006, and it contains "an onslaught of 10 uncompromising hard-hitting songs," according to a press release. "With dark and passionate lyrics it's a voyage to the dark corners of the mind, intense, raw and deeply touching. Every note, tone and word delivers a real-life experience, sometimes disturbing but always with pride and honesty."
