PROBOT Video Stars In High Demand
February 3, 2004The co-founder of SuicideGirls.com, a popular web site that features "goth-punk ladies in sexy, skimpy photos and videos," recently spoke to AVN.com about being handpicked by Dave Grohl (FOO FIGHTERS, NIRVANA) to appear in the video for "Shake Your Blood" by Grohl's metal side-project PROBOT.
"Dave came over to pick up some Suicide Girls swag and he asked us if we'd like to get involved in the first video from his new PROBOT record," Suicide Girls co-founder Missy Suicide said. "Of course, we said, 'Yes, we'd love to,' and 70 Suicide Girls ended up in the video."
The clip features the half-naked Suicide Girls, covered in tattoos and sporting multi-colored hair, dancing to the music as Grohl and Lemmy Kilmister of MOTÖRHEAD and Scott "Wino" Weinrich of THE OBSESSED/ST. VITUS rock out. There's even Suicide Girls "SG" logo on Grohl's bass drum.
"The girls have been in a number of other videos on their own, and a few were in a KING BLACK ACID video," noted Missy about the gals, who have also been performing in a burlesque show nationwide. "We have the girls booked in three more videos to shoot over the next six months."
