Promoter Confirms 'Slow Ticket Sales' Caused OZZFEST Cancellation In Somerset
June 16, 2006As BLABBERMOUTH.NET first reported yesterday, promoters have now confirmed that slow ticket sales have caused Ozzfest to cancel its Twin Cities stop for the second year in a row, according to StarTribune.com.
The show, set for July 14 in Somerset, Wis., did not include fest founder and namesake OZZY OSBOURNE, who is performing only a handful of concerts this summer. SYSTEM OF A DOWN, DISTURBED and AVENGED SEVENFOLD were among the acts slated to appear at Float-Rite Park in Somerset.
Last year's show was canceled because Osbourne was ill.
Refunds are available at place of purchase.
