RABBIT Videos Featuring Original AC/DC Singer Posted Online
November 27, 2006Several rare videos of RABBIT — the band original AC/DC singer Dave Evans joined after leaving AC/DC — have been posted online at YouTube.com.
Dave Evans recently embarked on the U.S. "Back On The Firing Line Tour" in support of the recent U.S. release of his solo album, "Sinner", on Heart Attack Records.
Dave was a member of AC/DC from the band's inception in 1973 until 1974. Following his departure from AC/DC, Evans formed the wild hedonistic rock band RABBIT, Melbourne '80s rock outfit DAVE EVANS AND THUNDER DOWN UNDER, and lastly DAVE EVANS AND HOT COCKEREL. He has also toured as a solo act.
After successfully touring across Europe and with the fans asking for and demanding a new Dave Evans album, Dave got together with some of Australia's finest hard rock musicians to write and record "Sinner". Former RABBIT bandmembers and mates Mark Tinson and David Hinds were quickly recruited as was former HOT COCKEREL bandmember Simon Croft. Along with Newcastle's finest — Mac on drums and Ngariki on bass (and guitar on a couple of tracks) — everyone went to work to write and record this classic hard rock album.
"Sinner" was originally released in 2004 on Germany's Cultural Minority record label for the European market. With the 2006 re-release of "Sinner" on Heart Attack Records, the album can now be found in stores across America. The CD is also available from Internet retailer CD Baby and from Dave's web site.
