REVOCATION: EXHORDER Cover Available For Streaming

Boston's REVOCATION is currently streaming its cover version of EXHORDER's "Death In Vain" via the band's official Facebook page. REVOCATION's rendition of the "Slaughter In The Vatican" album opener appears as the Japanese bonus track on the band's Relapse debut, "Existence Is Futile", and is also available digitally via iTunes.

Commented REVOCATION's Dave Davidson: "EXHORDER have been a huge influence on REVOCATION since day one. 'Death In Vain' is such a classic thrash song and we're all very pleased that we were able to pay homage to one of our favorite bands."

REVOCATION is currently on the road as part of DARKEST HOUR's 15th anniversary trek, "The Legacy Tour", which also includes VEIL OF MAYA and PERIPHERY.

"Existence Is Futile" landed at position No. 148 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists (defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200).

"Existence Is Futile" was released on September 29, 2009 in North America and October 5, 2009 internationally via Relapse Records. The follow-up to "Empire Of The Obscene" was recorded at Damage Studios in Southbridge, Massachusetts with engineer Pete Rutchko.
