RIPPER, JAMES MURPHY To Perform KING DIAMOND, MERCYFUL FATE Classics At ROADRUNNER Concert

According to a posting on his official web site, former TESTAMENT/DEATH guitarist James Murphy will perform three songs at tonight's (Dec. 15) Roadrunner Records' 25th anniversary concert, which is scheduled to take place at the Nokia Theatre in Times Sq. New York City: KING DIAMOND's "Abigail", MERCYFUL FATE's "Curse of the Pharaoh", and ANNIHILATOR's "Alison Hell". Singing all three tracks will be former JUDAS PRIEST and current ICED EARTH/BEYOND FEAR frontman Tim "Ripper" Owens, with additional assistance from such musicians as Joey Jordison (SLIPKNOT),Roy Mayorga (SOULFLY),Adam Duce (MACHINE HEAD),Paul Gray (SLIPKNOT),Andreas Kisser (SEPULTURA) and Jeff Waters (ANNIHILATOR). Some of the other special guests confirmed to perform at the Roadrunner Records' 25th anniversary concert include members of KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, BIOHAZARD, LIFE OF AGONY, FEAR FACTORY and TRIVIUM. Special guests, including past and present Roadrunner artists and other metal icons, will join the band onstage to play 20 classic Roadrunner tunes along with a few choice cuts from "Roadrunner United: The All Star Sessions".
