ROB ZOMBIE, ALICE COOPER Fans In Missouri Speak Out
October 13, 2010Rick Ryan's World has uploaded a five-minute video clip featuring interviews with fans that attended the Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper concert on October 6, 2010 at the Independence Events Center in Independence, Missouri as part of the Halloween Hootenanny tour. Watch the footage below.
Zombie and Cooper kicked off the Halloween Hootenanny tour on September 30 in Los Angeles, hitting the road together for three weeks and winding down October 20 in Nashville. The trek follows a short seven-gig run the pair did together this past summer. Zombie shared with The Pulse of Radio some inside info on what Alice likes to get up to while out on tour. "Here's the thing: he loves to shop, so he's always shopping," Rob told The Pulse of Radio. "So every day he would show up at the gig with a new gift for me. First day he came back with a, it's a little pig that when you turn it on it rolls around on the floor laughing hysterically like it can't breathe. And then the next day he brought me a VANILLA ICE tour shirt. Which I don't think he thought I would wear, so of course I wore it the next day to the meet-and-greet we did together just to prove a point."
Zombie recently announced that his next movie as a director will be called "The Lords Of Salem". It's a thriller set in contemporary Salem, where the inhabitants receive a demonic visit from a 300-year old coven of witches. Zombie will write the script while on his upcoming concert tour circuit, and will shoot next year.
The rocker/filmmaker released a deluxe edition of his latest album, "Hellbilly Deluxe 2", on September 28. It contains three new tracks, an alternate version of "The Man Who Laughs", a brand new video for "Mars Needs Women", a live version of Cooper's classic "School's Out" performed with Cooper, and a 30-minute DVD featuring a tour documentary.
