ROSE FUNERAL Prepares To Release 'The Resting Sonata'

Cincinnati, Ohio-based death metallers ROSE FUNERAL will release their full-length debut, "The Resting Sonata", on January 20 via Metal Blade Records. The cover art can be viewed below.

ROSE FUNERAL will team up with ABIGAIL WILLIAMS, BURNING THE MASSES, CONDUCTING THE GRAVE and THE BREATHING PROCESS for a U.S. beginning on January 30 in Lansing, Michigan.

The "The Resting Sonata" CD-release show will be held on January 23 in Nashville, Tennessee, which the band calls its second home.

According to the band's official bio, ROSE FUNERAL's sound is "comparable to [that] of THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, AT THE GATES, and PRAYER FOR CLEANSING," featuring "fast-paced riffs, bone-crushing breakdowns, and in-your-face melodies."

ROSE FUNERAL released a demo titled "Buried Beneath the Blood" in March 2006, followed by the band's second EP, "Crucify.Kill.Rot", in August of that same year.
