RWAKE: New Video Interview Posted Online

MetalKult.com has posted a new video interview with Gravy and Kiffin from Arkansas psychedelic sludge rockers RWAKE in which the guitarists talk about a range of topics, including how Southern culture has influenced RWAKE's sound, insane adventures on the road, and the classical arc to their latest album "Voices of Omens" (Relapse).

"The last couple of albums, if you listen to them they just kinda go from one end to the other, kinda like a big Mozart piece or something," says Gravy. "To put [instruments] in there that aren't traditionally in metal albums is always a goal of mine. [I want] to do something that hasn't been done before…to mix country and the scariest heavy metal in the world."

The video was filmed in New York City on July 24, 2007 while RWAKE was in the city touring behind "Voices of Omens".
