SACRED STEEL To Play First-Ever Swedish Gig In January

German metallers SACRED STEEL will make their first-ever live appearance in Sweden on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Rockklubben in Sandviken. Two additional bands will be appearing.

SACRED STEEL released its sixth album, "Hammer of Destruction", on November 10 via Massacre Records. The CD was recorded at the Spiderhouse studio in Lütte (near Berlin) with legendary producer Harris Johns (VOIVOD, HELLOWEEN, ST. VITUS, DEPRESSIVE AGE, SODOM, KREATOR). Mixing took place at the Music Lab Studio at the heart of the German capital.

In addition to the album, the band released a strictly limited box set (1,000 copies) containing the regular album on CD, several goodies and a bonus CD featuring the "Pounding Inferno" EP with four brand new tracks and several rare and unreleased older tracks.
