SALEM To Play With OBITUARY In Israel

Long-running Israeli extreme metallers SALEM will share the stage with Florida's OBITUARY on June 6 at the Theater Club in Jaffa, Israel. Doors open at 8:30 p.m.

SALEM is putting the finishing touches on a new DVD, entitled "Salem Underground". According to the band, the disc "is a collection of performances from four different shows. The concept for this DVD was to mix the recorded audio (in stereo) but to leave it unedited to maintain the rawest live experience possible."

The release date for "Salem Underground" has not yet been announced.

SALEM released its new album, "Necessary Evil", in June 2007 via Season of Mist. The follow-up to 2005's "Strings Attached" includes a 27-minute piece entitled "Once Upon a Lifetime Parts I - V".
