SATELLITE PARTY: PERRY FARRELL's New Band Play First-Ever Show
July 19, 2005According to MTV.com, fans packed West Hollywood's Key Club to capacity Monday night (July 18) to see Perry Farrell's (ex-JANE'S ADDICTION) new band, SATELLITE PARTY — which also includes NO DOUBT bassist Tony Kanal and ex-EXTREME guitarist Nuno Bettencourt — play their first-ever live show. Cheering on the band was Kanal's NO DOUBT bandmates Adrian Young and Gwen Stefani, who had hubby Gavin Rossdale (ex-BUSH) by her side. LIMP BIZKIT's Fred Durst and AUDIOSLAVE's Tom Morello were also in attendance.
SATELLITE PARTY's lineup for the Key Club show and upcoming Lollapalooza appearance will consist of the following:
Perry Farrell (JANE'S ADDICTION, PORNO FOR PYROS) - Vocals
Nuno Bettencourt (EXTREME, POPULATION 1, DRAMAGODS) - Guitar, Backing Vocals
Tony Kanal (NO DOUBT) - Bass
Steve Ferlazzo (TRIBE OF JUDAH, POPULATION 1, DRAMAGODS) - Keyboards
Kevin "Figg" Figueiredo (POPULATION 1, DRAMAGODS) - Drums
