SAVATAGE's CHRIS CAFFERY Speaks Out On Guitarist Change

SAVATAGE guitarist Chris Caffery has issued a personal statement regarding the recent departure of SEVEN WITCHES axeman Jack Frost and recruitment of former MEGADETH guitarist Al Pitrelli to the group's ranks. Says Caffery: “I want to thank Jack for a great job and a fun 10 months on the road. You are a great guy and I wish you all the best on the WITCHES [European tour with ANNIHILATOR] tour...You and [SEVEN WITCHES bassist Joey] Vera will RIP.

“I also want to welcome back Al as my co-lead guitarist in SAVATAGE. I enjoyed my 6 years working with him before and I am excited to get into the studio and create some killer guitar madness. I smell some serious dual leads...I do miss his dog already, he and were very good at laying around and ordering takeout. It was actually helpful thru all of this turmoil to have a baby mini boxer puppy devouring my socks...Thanks Moose!!!”
