SCARIOT To Mix New Album In September
July 7, 2005SCARIOT mainman Død (a.k.a. Daniel Olaisen; BLOOD RED THRONE) has posted the following update on the recording sessions for the group's new album:
"All the drums and guitar parts are finished. We still have some vocals to record. July 20th, I'll hook up with Steve [DiGiorgio; TESTAMENT, SADUS, SEBASTIAN BACH] and teach him the songs and then record the bass. So, in mid-August I'm pretty sure the recording is finished and ready to be mixed in September!"
SCARIOT have set "The Grand Design" as the title of their upcoming CD, tentatively due late 2005/early 2006. Drumming duties on the album were handled by Asgeir Mickelson (SPIRAL ARCHITECT, BORKNAGAR). The CD will be mixed at Top Room studios.
SCARIOT's last studio album, "Strange to Numbers", was released in 2003.
