SEPTEMBER MURDER Parts Ways With Drummer, Announces Replacement

January 13, 2009

German death metallers SEPTEMBER MURDER have parted ways with drummer Stefan Voigtländer and have replaced him with Clemens Frank (HIDDEN IN THE FOG, DISILUSION).

Commented the band: "Stefan quit his work with SEPTEMBER MURDER a few weeks ago. After almost four years of music, beer and sharing the stage, he decided to change his order of priorities, so he left us. We wish him all the best for his future and we are thankful for the great time we had! However, we are proud to announce the new man in the SEPTEMBER MURDER family. From now on, [Clemens] will destroy the stages with us and we are ready to shake things up! We're looking forward to a great time and fucking awesome shows with him!"

SEPTEMBER MURDER recently completed work on the band's new album, "Agony In Flesh", for an early 2009 release via Maintain Records. The CD was mastered by Peter Neuber, who has previously done work with NASUM, VOMITORY and WAR FROM A HARLOTS MOUTH.

According to a press release, SEPTEMBER MURDER's "After Every Setting Sun" EP (November 2007) drew the attention of the European press with its explosive sound that has been described as a mixture of CANNIBAL CORPSE, ENTOMBED and SUFFOCATION.
