SEPULTURA Guitarist Recording Solo Album: More Video Clips Available

February 13, 2007

More video clips of SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser laying down tracks for his upcoming solo album, "Hubris 1 & 2", have been posted online at YouTube.com.

A two-disc set, "Hubris 1 & 2" is tentatively on Septemebr 14 via Holland's Mascot Records. The CD is being recorded in part at A Voz do Brasil studio in São Paulo, Brazil.

In a recent interview with The Metal Exiles, Kisser stated about the upcoming effort, "It will be a double album, with the first disc being electric and the second disc being more acoustic and percussion[-based]." On why he decided to release a solo album now, Andreas said, "There was this label in Holland [Mascot] and said I should release something myself. Here is the deal, release something if you want to. I have a lot of material lying around so I am organizing it and recording it now. I am taking my time, as I am not in a rush, I want to enjoy it as much as I can."

As previously reported, a nine-minute video interview with Andreas Kisser, conducted in early December 2006 by MetalMachine.net during the band's visit to New York City, has been posted online at this location (Windows Media).
