SEPULTURA Guitarist Visits English School In Brazil
June 7, 2007SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser has issued the following update:
"I had a really cool event last Tuesday. It is an English school, in Sao Bernardo, the city I was born, near Sao Paulo. They invited me to talk about my life and career, all in English to the students from every age. It was funny to see the youngsters trying to formulate the questions in English. They did great and I had a really great time. I found out that my English is not bad at all! hehehe...Thanks to everybody in the Access School, mainly to Salete, who organized it all!
"We did a great festival in the capital of Brazil, Brasilia. Almost 20,000 people screaming for SEPULTURA. It was awesome, one of the best shows we did lately. Thanks to all the Brasilienses that made that night memorable. Can't wait to start the European tour!"
SEPULTURA recently posted two new video clips on its YouTube page. Check out soundcheck footage, shot at the Abril Pro Rock festival in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil on April 14, 2007, and a performance clip of "Ostia", filmed in Buenos Aires on January 13, 2007.
As previously reported, a rare video clip of SEPULTURA and the Brazilian kings of hardcore RATOS DE PORÃO performing a cover of RAMONES' "I'm Not Jesus" on the Brazilian TV show "TVMix" in 1990 has been posted online at this location.
SEPULTURA in March finished filming the second video from their "Dante XXI" album, for the song "Ostia". The clip was shot on March 3 at a studio in São Paulo prior to the band's departure for their European tour. During the following week, the video crew and the main actor shot the outdoor scenes in downtown São Paulo. The script, which adapts the story from the book "The Divine Comedy" to the modern days, was directed by Geraldo Moraes.
