SERENITY Forced To Drop Off KAMELOT Tour

March 30, 2009

Austrian symphonic melodic metal band SERENITY has cancelled the remaining shows on its European tour with KAMELOT and DELAIN after the group's lead singer, Georg Neuhauser, came down with "a bad flu with all infections you can imagine." The group says, "We just got word from Georg that he won't be able to do the rest of the tour due to his health problems (flu, bronchitis and inflammation of the middle ear)! So we have no other choice than cancel the rest of the tour — so SERENITY won't play Pratteln, Toulouse, Barcelona, Madrid and Alicante! We are absolutely disappointed on our own and want to apologize — but we can not find another solution! Nonetheless, big thanks to all of you who supported us in the Netherlands, Germany and U.K.! And thanks to Jeroen (tour manager),KAMELOT, DELAIN and the whole crew for their understanding and support!!"

SERENITY's latest album, "Fallen Sanctuary", was released in August 2008 via Napalm Records. The CD was mixed by Jacob Hansen (RAUNCHY, INVOCATOR),who "has provided a state-of-the-art sound for SERENITY's brilliant new offerings," according to a press release.

SERENITY's debut album, entitled "Words Untold & Dreams Unlived", came out in April 2007.
