SHADOWS FALL Vocalist Diagnosed With Laryngitis, Refuses To Cancel Shows
October 29, 2004SHADOWS FALL lead singer Brian Fair was recently diagnosed with not only strep throat, but also laryngitis. However, he refuses to cancel any performances because of it. Fair states, "I have never cancelled a show due to poor health and don't plan on it now. The support of our fans means the world to us and I would never do anything to let them down. Besides, if Curt Shilling can lead the Red Sox to a World Series victory with a sewn up ankle then I can tough it out and bring the metal."
SHADOWS FALL will be featured guests on this week's "Headbanger's Ball" special Halloween edition, set to air on MTV2 this Saturday night, Oct. 30 at 10PM EST/7PM PST. The show will be composed of interviews and segments of the band playing live taken exclusively from the "Blood Rayne 2" release party filmed at the Los Angeles House of Blues last Thursday Oct. 21. The episode will also include the world premiere of the group's new video, "What Drives The Weak", shot by acclaimed director Zach Merck (12 STONES, ATREYU).
SHADOWS FALL massive co-headlining U.S. tour alongside DAMAGEPLAN and THE HAUNTED kicked off earlier this week.
