SHADOWSIDE Prepares To Release New Single, Full-Length Album

Brazilian metallers SHADOWSIDE have selected the track "Baby in the Dark" to be the first single off their new album, "Dare to Dream". The 11-song CD was produced and mixed by Dave Schiffman (SYSTEM OF A DOWN, AUDIOSLAVE, AVENGED SEVENFOLD) at LCM Studio in Sao Paulo and was mastered by Howie Weinberg (AEROSMITH, IRON MAIDEN, METALLICA, PANTERA, RUSH) at Masterdisk in New York.

"Dare to Dream" will be released in Brazi through LCM Records/Skyblue Music. Release details for other territories have not yet been confirmed.

Commented SHADOWSIDE lead singer Dani Nolden: "I see 'Dare to Dream' as one step above in our career. We've kept the same attitude we had on 'Theatre of Shadows' but we were a little more bold this time. I believe lots of people will be quite surprised because we did some stuff that maybe no one would ever expect us to do but we've also kept our identity."

She continued, "Recently we finished our contract with Chavis Records. They were one of the main people behind us giving us a 'kick in the ass' in the right direction in our path and we're grateful for it and for everything they helped us achieve. We wish them only the very best. Bill and Lori will always be great friends of ours but it's time that we move on, it was the right moment to leave and we'll shop the new album to labels but have already started talking to some people that showed interest. We're extremely confident about this new material and very anxious to see what the future holds in store for us."

The "Baby in the Dark" single will receive a limited commercial release. It features the following track listing:

03. Life Denied

SHADOWSIDE will play several shows in Spain September before taking part in the Indianapolis Metal Fest on September 26.
