SHIVA Ink Deal With CENTURY MEDIA

Century Media Records has signed Orange County, California-based SHIVA. Formed out of the ashes of cult atmospheric metalists MINDROT, SHIVA are said to be making "unconventional music for a conventional world, writing heavy, pulsating, ethereal songs that are unique to the current heavy music scene," according to an official press release. "This diversity has landed the quintet gigs with an eclectic array of artists including CAVE IN, HIGH ON FIRE, MOONSPELL and LACUNA COIL."

SHIVA are currently writing material for their Century Media debut, due in spring 2003. In the meantime, SHIVA have posted downloadable MP3s for the songs "Hopeless", "Shelter", "Breathe" (edit),"Empty" and "Disintegrate" via their official web site at this location.
