SILENT FORCE Complete Work On New Album
June 25, 2004SILENT FORCE, the band featuring ex-ROYAL HUNT singer D.C. Cooper, have completed work on their third album for a late 2004 release through Noise Records. The follow-up to 2001's "Infatuator" was produced by Dennis Ward (ANGRA, PINK CREAM 69) at House of Audio studio in Karlsdorf, Germany.
"It's been a long time since the last album was released," guitarist Alex Beyrodt writes on the group's web site. "After touring with STRATOVARIUS all over Europe in 2001, Europe again with ANGRA in 2002, then U.D.O. and the festivals in America, France and Germany plus promotional touring in Japan, the band was ready for the next step. 2003 we worked like crazy on the new songs, as a band … all together in one rehearsal room. Like the bands in the old days, when metal and hard rock was born, did. We were jamming and there was magic in the air. We tried to put some of this magic on this record and I think we succeed. We took care on the business side as well and made a huge change to a new record company, Sanctuary/Noise Records. D.C. made his best vocal performance ever in his career and I think it is not to much to say: HE IS BACK, better then ever! All in all it took us longer then we expected, but I think the result compensates the long waiting. Enjoy the new album soon, feel the magic and stay with us in the future."
As previously reported, SILENT FORCE parted ways with InsideOut Music last summer after they were deemed to be "not the right fit" for the label's roster.
