SIRIUS Hard Attack Beams VOIVOD's PIGGY Into Space

The "Bloody Roots" metal history show on Sirius Satellite Radio's Hard Attack channel will honor VOIVOD guitarist Denis "Piggy" D'Amour on Tuesday (Aug. 30 at 9:00 p.m. EST) and Friday (Sept. 2 at 1:00 p.m. EST),playing a full hour of classic VOIVOD songs, plus VOIVOD covers by DECEASED and DAHLIA SEED. Also included will be excerpts from a widely-circulated Piggy home songwriting demo from 1994.

Says host Ian Christe: "Sirius is the Dog star, and we wanted to welcome the Pig star to our cosmos. Our huge loss is the universe's gain."
