SLAYER's KERRY KING Interviewed On FOX NEWS' 'Red Eye'; Video Available
May 26, 2010SLAYER guitarist Kerry King was interviewed on the May 18 edition of Fox News' "Red Eye" show with host Greg Gutfeld. You can now watch his appearance below.
"Red Eye" is a late-night/early-morning talk show on the Fox News channel. Airing at 3:00 a.m. EST on weekdays with repeats on weekends at 12:00 a.m. EST, the show covers a variety of topics, including news, entertainment, sports, and gossip. It is hosted by former Maxim U.K. editor Greg Gutfeld.
SLAYER's latest album, "World Painted Blood", was released on November 3, 2009 via American Recordings. The CD initially shipped with four special collector's edition covers. Each of the four covers displayed one-fourth of a provocative continental map illustrated with human skulls and bones; when placed together, the four images form a complete and grisly map of the world. All four of the initial CD packages included a special blood-red, see-through top panel with the map displayed beneath it.
SLAYER's track "Hate Worldwide" was nominated for a Grammy Award in the "Best Metal Performance" category. The award eventually went to British heavy metal legends JUDAS PRIEST, who were honored for the track "Dissident Aggressor", from the band's 2009 live album "A Touch of Evil: Live".
