SLIPKNOT Frontman To Play First-Ever Solo Show At Kansas City's ROCKFEST
March 30, 2009KORN, BUCKCHERRY, SHINEDOWN and DROWNING POOL are among the confirmed bands for the Rockfest 2009, set to take place Saturday, May 30 at The Liberty Memorial in Kansas City, Missouri.
Last year, the event sold out in weeks and is now the largest single-day festival in the country, drawing over 50,000 guests from Kansas City and surrounding areas.
This year's lineup also includes the first-ever solo appearance by SLIPKNOT/STONE SOUR frontman Corey Taylor. Taylor appeared on KQRC 98.9 The Rock's top-rated "Johnny Dare Morning Show" this morning to talk about how excited he was for his first-ever solo appearance.
Tickets go on sale to registered Rockaholics this Wednesday and to the general public on Saturday.
