SOULFLY: 'Dark Ages' E-Card Now Available

An e-card for the new SOULFLY album, "Dark Ages", featuring audio previews of all 15 tracks from the CD, has been posted online at this location.

"Dark Ages" is scheduled for release on October 4 via Roadrunner Records. The follow-up to 2004's "Prophecy" was produced by SOULFLY mainman Max Cavalera and was mixed by Terry Date, who has previously worked with PANTERA and DEFTONES, among others.

As previously reported, SOULFLY have selected the track "Carved Inside" as the first single from "Dark Ages". A video for the song, described as "dark" and full of "fire," was filmed at a 700-year-old fortress on the shores of the Danube river in Serbia. Later in the year, a video for "Frontlines", which was filmed during the same week as "Carved Inside", will premiere as the follow-up single to "Carved Inside". THROWDOWN and INCITE, a local Arizona band fronted by Ritchie Cavalera (stepson of SOULFLY mainman Max Cavalera),will be the opening acts on all of the dates on SOULFLY's upcoming U.S. tour.
