SOULFLY: More 'Conquer' First-Week Chart Positions Revealed

August 8, 2008

SOULFLY's new album, "Conquer", has registered the following first-week chart positions around the world:

Germany: #15
Austria: #16
Australia: #19
Finland: #20
Netherlands: #33
USA: #66
UK (Rock Albums): #7

"Conquer" sold around 8,400 copies in the Unted States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. This number is in line with the opening tally of the CD's predecessor, "Dark Ages", which shifted a little more than 8,000 copies during its first week of release in October 2005 to enter the chart at No. 155.

Video footage of SOULFLY performing the song "Prophecy" on July 13, 2005 at Stodola in Warsaw, Poland can be viewed below. The clip was released as part of SOULFLY's "Conquer" special edition CD/DVD album, which came on July 29 via Roadrunner. The "Conquer" special edition features three bonus tracks and a bonus DVD containing the full 65-minute Warsaw concert.

SOULFLY's new video, "Unleash", was directed by Robert Sexton, who has previously worked with MONDO GENERATOR, AMEN and ICED EARTH, among many others. The song is the first single from "Conquer".
