SOUNDGARDEN Near-Reunion At TOM MORELLO's Justice Tour Stop in Seattle; Video Available
March 25, 2009According to RollingStone.com, three former members of SOUNDGARDEN — Kim Thayil, Ben Shepherd and Matt Cameron — performed together last night (Tuesday, March 24) in Seattle at one of Tom Morello's Justice Tour stops.
"I haven't been this fucking excited about something in a long time," Morello exclaimed, according to the report. "It's like I won some type of contest or something."
The SOUNDGARDEN bandmates, playing for the first time together since the band broke up in 1997, were joined by Tad Doyle, a veteran of the Seattle scene. Their three-song set consisted of "Nothing to Say", "Spoonman" (with Morello) and an "energetic" version of "Hunted Down".
