SOUNDSCAN Report: CANNIBAL CORPSE, PRONG, GOD FORBID, APARTMENT 26
March 3, 2004CANNIBAL CORPSE's "The Wretched Spawn" sold 4,224 copies in the U.S. in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. As previously reported, DEICIDE's latest, "Scars of the Crucifix", registered a first-week tally of 4,342. In other SoundScan news, GOD FORBID's "Gone Forever" moved 2,816 pieces in its opening week, while APARTMENT 26's "Music For The Massive" did 2,367, ORGY's "Punk Statik Paranoia" moved 5,353, and PRONG's "Scorpio Rising" — out in Europe since last summer — ended up with a rather unremarkable 1,488.
