SPINEFARM RECORDS Onboard For BLOODSTOCK's 'Metal 2 The Masses' Unsigned Talent Competition

As the Metal 2 The Masses competition for unsigned talent grows in strength, Spinefarm Records UK has shown its support to seek out the finest the U.K. and Ireland have to offer. Already a number of independent venues throughout the country are being inundated with acts wanting to grace the unsigned stage at Bloodstock Open Air 2009 festival and the wheels are in motion as they showcase bands in regional heats.

Each of the following venues will all be holding events up to their respective final, which will be viewed by venue promoters and Bloodstock Open Air representatives.

* Yardbirds - Grimsby (Finals Date May 9)
* Rockhouse - Derby (Finals Date May 16
* Lounge Bar - Hants (Finals Date May 29)
* Riffs Bar - Swindon (Finals Date May 30)
* Rock Matrix - London (Finals Date May 31)
* The Queens Hall - Nuneaton (Finals Date July 4)
* The Rosetta Bar - Belfast (Finals Date July 18)
* Grand Central (Finals Date July 18)

From there on, the winning bands will all play at Bloodstock Open Air 2009 where they will be viewed by both Bloodstock, Spinefarm and more to stand the opportunity of the following incentives...

Spinefarm Records will be taking an active role in judging and awarding throughout the Bloodstock event, and further to this, it will be taking an active role working with any act who show genuine potential.

Further prize giveaways for winning bands and runners up which will involve some of the guitar and amplification suppliers to metal bands worldwide.
