STAIND Singer Extends Solo Tour

October 24, 2008

According to The Pulse of Radio, STAIND vocalist Aaron Lewis has added shows to his solo touring itinerary, which begins on January 2 in Henderson, Nevada and now runs through the end of February. Lewis has a busy few months ahead of him, playing on Friday night (October 24) with STAIND in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Saturday (October 25) in Frisco, Texas, with the band starting a month-long U.S. tour on November 12 in Uncasville, Connecticut.

STAIND has been promoting its sixth studio album, "The Illusion of Progress", which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard album chart last month.

That snapped the band's streak of three straight No. 1 debuts, which started with 2001's "Break The Cycle" and ended in 2005 with "Chapter V".

Lewis hopes to issue his debut solo album sometime in 2009.
