October 22, 2009

Video footage of California rockers STEEL PANTHER performing an acoustic version of the song "Community Property" can be viewed below. Also available is a previously released question-and-answer session with the band interspersed with an acoustic performance of "Girl From Oklahoma".

STEEL PANTHER's first collection of original material, "Feel The Steel", was produced by Jay Ruston and was officially released in the U.S. on October 6.

"When you hear the title, 'Feel The Steel', you're going to feel some stuff you probably weren't used to feeling before, and that's the feeling of heavy metal going through your loins," lead singer Michael Starr said.

STEEL PANTHER is the '80s metal/hard rock tribute act formerly known as METAL SKOOL. The four-member band, known for its outrageous stage presence and gargantuan guitar riffs, has been entertaining fans and scores of rock and entertainment VIPs with its raucous antics via L.A.'s longest-running heavy metal show on the Sunset Strip for nearly a decade (now running at the infamous Key Club every Monday night). The band also holds residencies at the Green Valley Resort and Casino on Friday and Saturday in Las Vegas and the Typhoon Saloon in San Diego every Wednesday.
