STONE SOUR: More Footage From The Studio Posted Online

April 26, 2010

Currently holed up in a house in Nashville, Tennessee , STONE SOUR is in the process of recording the much-anticipated follow-up to 2006's "Come What(ever) May" with producer Nick Raskulinecz (known for his work with FOO FIGHTERS, RUSH and ALICE IN CHAINS). Documenting their time living together and writing in Blackbird Studios, the guys — vocalist Corey Taylor, guitarists Jim Root and Josh Rand, bassist Shawn Economaki and drummer Roy Mayorga — are offering regular video updates on their progress and behind-the-scenes antics.

In this fourth official clip (see below),Mayorga talks about Blackbird Studios and lays down some beats.

Raskulinecz previously worked with STONE SOUR on the gold-selling "Come What(ever) May" album..

Both previous STONE SOUR albums have sold more than half a million copies and are approaching the platinum mark in sales, bolstered by hits like "Bother", "Through Glass" and "Silly World".

STONE SOUR frontman Corey Taylor and guitarist Jim Root also play in SLIPKNOT.
