SUFFOCATION: New Album Listening Party Announced

Legendary New York death metallers SUFFOCATION have posted the following message on their official web site:

"Come down to Duff's in Brooklyn this Saturday for a sneak peek at our new album and rare/unreleased video footage! That's right, a SUFFOCATION listening party July 15th. The whole band will be there for the party so come barbecue, drink and listen to our new album with us... The album is not for sale at the party but we will have merchandise for sale."

Duff's Brooklyn is located at N. 3rd St & Kent Ave in Williamsburg, New York. More information is available at this location.

SUFFOCATION recently completed work on their new album, "Suffocation". The self-titled CD was recorded at Full Force Studios in Long Island, NY and will feature artwork from tattoo artist JonZig, which can be previewed here. "Suffocation" is set for a September 19 release in North America (September 25 internationally). Additionally, SUFFOCATION will appear as part of the North American Strhess Tour August 1 through August 12, along with SHADOWS FALL, POISON THE WELL and more. Immediately following their Strhess Tour dates, the band will embark on an 11-city European tour that includes performances at Up From the Ground open air festival, Mountains of Death festival and Els Rock open air, among others.
