SUPERFIX Collaborate With SKID ROW Guitarist On Latest Demo
March 19, 2002SUPERFIX, the Los Angeles-based band featuring former DRAIN STH drummer Martina Axen (who handles lead vocals in the new group) and bassist Anna Kjellberg, are collaborating with SKID ROW guitarist Dave Snake Sabo on the group's latest batch of demos, which are currently being tracked at a California studio with Sabo at the production helm. According to Axen, the [new] songs are the best we ever wrote and I think working with Snake [has been] one of the most fun and productive/inspiring times I've ever had. Basically, we are doing a pre-production with him working on the arrangements, and we will record these songs with him in his studio in the next [few] weeks, Martina told www.martinaaxen.net.
As previously reported, SUPERFIX will lay down at least four tracks during the current sessionsincluding "Big Pig", "Devil Made Me Do It" and "I Need A Fix (Superfix)" with a view towards securing a record deal and beginning work on the group's debut album, tentatively due in late 2002/early 2003. Among the tracks that are provisionally set to appear on the as-yet-untitled CD are the following:
