SYNASTRY Announces Headlining Tour Dates

April 18, 2008

Montreal-based death metal quartet SYNASTRY has announced headlining tour dates in support of its upcoming debut album, "Blind Eyes Bleed". The band will play a string of dates in Ontario before its CD-release party on May 17. A summer tour across Canada is being planned and will be announced shortly.

"We are thrilled to be on the road again in support of 'Blind Eyes Bleed'. SYNASTRY is looking forward to meeting up with old friends and new faces throughout the coming tours," says frontman Jimmy Anastasopoulos. "Each night will be a party and each show will be crushing. Make sure you're there."

SYNASTRY's "Blind Eyes Bleed" will be released on May 20 through Year of the Sun Records. The album was produced and engineered by SLAVES ON DOPE guitarist Kevin Jardine and features guest appearances by THE AGONIST's frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz and former ARCH ENEMY founding vocalist Johan Liiva.

SYNASTRY's rise through the death metal scene is no doubt in part to its non-stop work ethic. The group's explosive live show has won over fans of ROTTING CHRIST, FOREVER IN TERROR, and 3 MILE SCREAM, while its impressive online networking skills made the band the #1 ranked unsigned act on MySpace's "Death Metal" category before landing a deal with Year of the Sun.

Upcoming SYNASTRY shows:

April 30 - Sarnia ON - The Lazy Duck
May 01 - London, ON - The Wick
May 02 - Windsor, ON - Coach and Horses
May 03 - Kingsville, ON - Club Vertigo
May 04 - Ottawa, ON - Mavericks
May 08 - Niagara Falls, ON - [to be announced]
May 17 - Montreal, QC - Club Lambi (CD-Release Party)
May 18 - Cambridge, ON - 69 Pickups
