SYRACH Pens '10-Minute Hymn To Doom'

September 23, 2006

Norwegian doom band SYRACH is continuing work on its new album with producer Herbrand Larsen from ENSLAVED. "In addition to working in the studio, SYRACH has now composed a brand new 10-minute song, a magnificent hymn to doom!" the group writes on its web site. "The track is yet untitled. All drums for the forthcoming album are done and hopefully Ørjan will record his thunderous bass tracks in a couple of weeks!!"

Formed in 1993 in Kalandseidet (near Bergen, Norway — a region known to have spawned bands like IMMORTAL and BURZUM, to name a few),SYRACH's current lineup includes two new members: Suleiman on drums and Noralf Venås on guitar.
